Does Oklahoma add money to SSI?

State Supplemental Payment (SSP)

Oklahoma adds a small monthly payment for people who are aged, blind or disabled and do not live in an institution. It is for people who get SSI or who meet the same income and resource limits. The state payment is $40 a month at most. The state subtracts your countable income from its limit ($1,034 a month for one person, $1,571 for a couple), so you may get less.

Aged, blind or disabled individual not living in an institution$40$1,034July 1, 2026

The total uses the federal SSI amount for that living arrangement. For people living on their own, the federal SSI part is $994 a month for one person or $1,491 for a couple in 2026. In another person's household or in a medical facility it is less.

How to apply
Apply with Oklahoma Human Services (OKDHS). You can apply online at OKDHSLive! or at your local Oklahoma Human Services center. The same office handles SoonerCare (Medicaid) for people who are aged, blind or disabled.
