Does Indiana add money to SSI?

Residential Care Assistance Program (RCAP)

RCAP helps pay for room, board and laundry for people who live in a licensed residential care facility or county home that has an RCAP contract with the state. You must be 65 or older, blind, or have a disability, and get Medicaid or SSI. It is for people who cannot live at home but do not need nursing home care.

Paid by: the state

How to apply
RCAP is a separate application from SSI. The RCAP facility helps you fill out the RCAP application. Send it with all supporting papers to the Division of Family Resources by email at [email protected].
