This policy covers robinclaim.com and describes what each RobinClaim site does with information. Each site also has its own privacy page, linked below.

You don't need an account, and there are no forms that send what you type to us. The “What happened?” search box runs only in your browser: the first time you use it, it downloads one list of our topics and guides, the same file for every visitor, and matches your words against it on your device; what you type is never sent and never put in the page address. The “What are you owed?” finder also runs only in your browser: the facts for every state are already part of the page, so choosing a state or a problem sends no request. The link to your plan contains only your state and the boxes you ticked, never your name or details, and it is not sent to us unless you open or share it.

The visit counter (all RobinClaim sites)

Cloudflare, which hosts our sites, receives technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the page you request, to deliver pages and protect the sites. We also run our own visit counter on every site, including this one. It does not use cookies. It keeps a random visit identifier in your browser's local storage. For each visit it records the pages viewed, the site you came from, the time spent and how far you scrolled, clicks on buttons and links, your IP address, your country, state and city, and your device and browser type. It never records what you type in forms. We use these records only to see how the sites are used, and keep them for 5 years.

Each site

  • Small Claims Map: when you download or copy a demand letter, it saves what you entered in the letter form and the “Can you file?” checker (including names, addresses and contact details), with the page, time and approximate location; it keeps this for up to three years. It also uses Google Analytics (cookies) and Cloudflare Web Analytics. The filing checklist remembers your ticks in your browser.
  • Tax Appeal Map: the savings calculator runs in your browser. When you download or copy the appeal letter, the details you entered are saved, without your IP address or visit identifier, for 5 years. Some pages use Google Analytics.
  • Wage Claim Map: the calculator and final-pay checker run in your browser. When you download or copy the demand letter, its details are saved, without your IP address or visit identifier, for 5 years.
  • Owed Map: no forms. Searches happen on official state and federal sites, under their privacy policies.
  • Lemon Car Map: the lemon check and notice letter run only in your browser; nothing you type is sent.
  • Exemption Map: the eligibility finder, savings estimate and checklist run in your browser; choosing a state loads that state's public rules; your answers are not sent.
  • Tenant Rights Map: the deposit calculator, the deposit and repair letters and the eviction timeline run only in your browser; choosing a state loads that state's public rules; the letters' files are made on your device and nothing you type is sent.
  • Divorce Law Map: the timeline estimator and the divorce checklist run only in your browser; choosing a state loads that state's public rules; the checklist's files are made on your device and nothing you type is sent.

Email, children and your rights

If you email us, we use your message only to reply. Our sites are meant for adults and are not directed at children under 13. We don't sell information. You can ask us what we hold about you, and ask us to correct or delete it; visit records are not linked to your name, so we can find them only if you give us the IP address you used. Residents of states such as California may have additional rights.

If this changes

If we add other analytics, advertising or a form that sends information to us, we will update this page first and, where the law requires it, ask for your consent.
